Geschätzte ÖGBMT-Mitglieder!

In Zusammenhang mit dem heuer stattfindenden 50 Jahre ÖGBMT-Jubiläum möchte ich, als Leiter der Arbeitsgruppe „Startups“, erheben, wer von den ÖGBMT-Mitgliedern bereits eine Firma gegründet hat. (Egal, ob sie noch besteht oder nicht!)
Wir möchten in der Gesellschaft zu diesem Thema eine interne Kommunikation zwischen erfahrenen Mitgliedern und jüngeren Kolleginnen und Kollegen aufbauen.

ÖGBMT Regulatory Update
Die Arbeitsgruppe Regulatory Affairs der ÖGBMT arbeitet derzeit an einer Rückmeldung zum Call for Evidence der EU zur Evaluierung der MDR/IVDR sowie eine zugehörigen Stellungnahme. Die Umfrage richtet sich explizit auch an alle Bürger:innen. Wir möchten Sie daher zur Teilnahme unter dem folgenden Link ermuntern. Die Ergebnisse der Umfrage werden in die Evaluierungen Gesetze sowie in die geplante Überarbeitung von MDR und IVDR einfließen:

ÖGBMT Stefan Schuy-Preis 2025 – Ausschreibung
Der Stefan Schuy-Preis 2025 wurde ausgeschrieben. Hier noch einmal zur Erinnerung:

Der Zweck des Preises ist die Förderung von exzellenten wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten auf dem Gebiet der Biomedizinischen Technik.
Die Höhe des Förderungspreises beträgt EUR 2.500,-

ÖGBMT Regulatory Update
The ÖGBMT Regulatory Affairs working group is currently working on feedback to the EU’s Call for Evidence on the evaluation of the MDR/IVDR and an associated statement. The survey is also explicitly aimed at all citizens. We would therefore like to encourage you to participate via the following link. The results of the survey will be incorporated into the evaluation laws and the planned revision of the MDR and IVDR:

ÖGBMT Stefan Schuy-Prize 2025 – Call for applications
The Stefan Schuy Prize 2025 has been announced. Here again as a reminder:

The purpose of the prize is to promote excellent scientific work in the field of biomedical engineering.
The amount of the prize is EUR 2,500.
