Informationen zur Durchführung der elektronischen Vorstandswahl
Wie bereits angekündigt, werden die Neuwahlen des gesamten Vorstands mittels elektronischer Stimmabgabe durchgeführt. Dafür werden alle Mitglieder in der kommenden Woche ein E-Mail erhalten, das den oben dargelegten Wahlvorschlag zur Abstimmung stellt. Sie haben dann eine Woche Zeit, per Antwort auf dieses Email mit Zustimmung, Ablehnung oder Enthaltung ihre Stimme abzugeben. Direkt nach Ablauf der Frist wird das Ergebnis durch die Geschäftsstelle verkündet. Bei Fragen zur Vorstandswahl können Sie sich gern an die Geschäftsstelle wenden: office@oegbmt.at
Gemeinsame Jahrestagung ÖGBMT ÖGMP 2026 – Vorläufiges Programm veröffentlicht

Das vorläufige Programm ist nun auf der Website verfügbar: https://www.oegmp-tagung.at/programm/ Die Zuweisung und der Zeitplan der Vorträge werden derzeit finalisiert und in Kürze veröffentlicht.
Zur Erinnerung: Die Anmeldung ist bereits möglich (https://www.oegmp-tagung.at/registrierung/), Deadline für die Early-Bird-Registrierung ist der 1. März 2026! Bitte denken Sie auch daran, Ihre Unterkunft bald zu buchen. Wir haben für die Teilnehmer ein Kontingent an Hotelzimmern zu Sonderkonditionen reserviert, die über die Website gebucht werden können.
Stefan Schuy-Preis 2026 – erste Informationen
Auf Grund der heuer im April stattfindenden Jahrestagung, wird der Stefan Schuy-Preis in diesem Jahr im Rahmen des FacultyDays der Fakultät für Informatik und Biomedizinische Technik der TU Graz vergeben werden.

Wir gedenken der Frau unseres Vereinsgründers Stefan Schuy, die am 15. Jänner im 92. Lebensjahr verstorben ist. Unsere Anteilnahme gilt ihrer Tochter Renate, der wir auch auf diesem Wege unser herzliches Beileid ausdrücken möchten.

Information on the electronic executive board election
As previously announced, the new elections for the entire Executive Board will be conducted by electronic voting. To this end, all members will receive an email next week containing the above-mentioned election proposal for voting. You will then have one week to cast your vote by replying to this email with your approval, rejection or abstention. The result will be announced by the office immediately after the deadline. If you have any questions about the board election, please feel free to contact the office: office@oegbmt.at.
Joint Annual Conference ÖGBMT & ÖGMP 2026
Date: 9–11 April 2026

Only 50 days to go until the start of the 2026 Joint Annual Meeting of the ÖGBMT and ÖGMP in Innsbruck!
The preliminary programme is now available on the website: https://www.oegmp-tagung.at/programm/ The allocation and schedule of presentations are currently being finalised and will be published shortly.
As a reminder, registration is already open (https://www.oegmp-tagung.at/registrierung/), with the deadline for early bird registration on 1 March 2026! Please also remember to book your accommodation soon. We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at special rates for participants, which can be booked via the website.
Stefan Schuy Prize 2026 – Initial Information
Due to the annual conference taking place in April this year, the Stefan Schuy Prize will be awarded during Faculty Day at the Faculty of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology.

We remember the wife of our association’s founder, Stefan Schuy, who passed away on 15 January at the age of 92. Our thoughts are with her daughter Renate, to whom we would like to express our sincere condolences.
